I’m Sara, a photographer who’s happiest in tramping boots, drinking coffee from a Jetboil and sleeping in a tent. I feel most at home outside - exploring trails, chasing sunrises and sunsets, and getting lost in wild places.
Adventure has always been my reset button. Fresh air, summits and endless trails, that’s where I feel most alive. For me, it’s all about chasing the kind of experiences that stay with you.
Taupō is where I’m currently based, and it’s a dream backyard. The lake, forest, and mountains are constantly changing, always pulling me back out there. I never really run out of places to explore, or reasons to bring the camera along.
When I shoot, I’m trying to capture what it really feels like to be there, so I can share a bit of those wild places and maybe inspire someone to go find their own adventure.
My images tend to find the still moments - early light before the world wakes up, reflections, the quiet in between.
